Research:
My creative interests include the study and investigation of physical activity and its impact for youth through the elderly. In addition, I have a special interest in fitness assessment, exercise program design, and prescription for special populations. My teaching responsibilities link directly to my interests, as I train undergraduate students to work safely, effectively, and professionally with both healthy individuals and those with special concerns. These students will leave Indiana University as experienced, certified fitness specialists. I take great pride in knowing IU is making an impact in the health and well-being of people's lives. At the end of the day, this is truly what it is all about.
