Research Interest:

Presenter at eight American College of Sports Medicine Health/Fitness Summits (2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011); a new presentation has been accepted for 2012. Topics have included older adults and exercise, core stability, Pilates research updates, stress management for fitness professionals, and practical applications of the happiness research literature.
International presenter (China, India, Egypt, Brazil, and multiple European and Caribean countries) for both ACSM and AFAA. Workshops have included ACSM's Health Fitness Instructor, AFAA's Personal Trainer, and AFAA's Primary Group Exercise.
