Dr. Bodde's research experience centers on health promotion for people with disabilities, especially intellectual disabilities. She is interested in measurement and evaluation of physical activity among people with intellectual disabilities as well as promotion of physical activity for this population. Her interests also include public health intervention research. Dr. Bodde has also been involved in designing health behavior interventions, primarily in the areas of alcohol abuse, obesity and tobacco use.
