Background
Research Interests

My work has been focusing on the neurotrophic and neurotoxic effects of nutrition on cognitive decline and Alzheimer's disease. Some of my other research interests involve the investigation of risk factors for a variety of diseases including stroke, diabetes, hypertension, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and chronic kidney disease.
